We are so glad you are here. We hope this guide helps you settle in, stay safe, and make the most of every moment on this beautiful island. Grand Turk is a truly special place — relax, explore, and enjoy every second of your stay.

 

The Villas

Villa Azul and Villa Turkquoise sit side by side on a pristine beachfront on the northwest coast of Grand Turk — away from the busy cruise center, on the quieter and more spectacular side of the island. Each villa has its own private pool and large jacuzzi, and is fully equipped for a relaxing, memorable vacation.

 

Both villas can be booked individually or together, making them an ideal option for larger groups and families. Step outside to turquoise ocean views in every direction, feel the cool Atlantic trade winds, listen to waves lapping just 50 feet from the deck, and watch some of the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever see.

Each villa is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including:

Swimming Pool 

Both villas have private pools exclusively for you and your group — no shared facilities. The pools are located directly on the beach, surrounded by spacious decks with lounge chairs.

 

Please observe the following pool safety rules:

• No glass in or around the pool — plastic cups are provided for your convenience

• No diving

• Children must be supervised at all times

• Please rinse your feet before entering the pool or jacuzzi

• Remove all pool toys from the water when finished — the wind will carry them away

 

ℹ  Please do not remove the pool robot from the water. If you need it moved, contact us, and we will arrange it. Removing it while the motor is running will damage the equipment.

The Beach

The beach in front of the villas is one of the most pristine stretches on the island — quiet, uncrowded, and utterly beautiful. An early morning walk might reward you with the sight of Eagle Rays or Stingrays gliding through the shallows at high tide, or colorful Trunkfish cruising the reef edge. You may also encounter a few of Grand Turk's famous wild donkeys and horses along the way.

Water shoes are recommended for wading at low tide. Please bring all beach towels and chairs back to the villa when you are done for the day.

 

Snorkeling

There are excellent snorkeling patches very close to the villa, with an abundance of tropical fish and coral. Several guests have encountered Spotted Eagle Rays right in front of the property. Bring your own equipment.

 

Scuba Diving & Diving

Grand Turk is consistently ranked among the top scuba diving destinations in the world. The diving here suits all experience levels — calm conditions, virtually no current, exceptional visibility averaging 100 feet or more, and warm water ranging from 74–84°F depending on the season.

 

Most dive sites are located on the west side of the island, just minutes from the beach by dive boat. A typical dive begins at about 30 feet, slopes gently to 40 feet, then opens onto a dramatic wall plunging into the deep blue. Every diver can explore the wall at a depth they are comfortable with before a relaxed return over shallow, life-covered reefs.

 

ℹ  "McDonalds" dive site — located approximately 800 meters offshore directly in front of Villa Azul — was awarded Best Wall Dive in the Caribbean by Scuba Dive Magazine three years running. Villa Azul also features a dedicated dive gear rinse tank and equipment hangers next to the outdoor shower.

Beach Chairs & Towels

Lounge beach chairs and beach towels are all provided for your use. Please bring all towels back in when you are finished for the day.

​

Barbecue Grill

Both villas are equipped with a gas grill. Fire it up and enjoy an evening on the deck — it doesn't get much better than a beachside barbecue at sunset.

​Wireless Internet

Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. You can easily stream content from Netflix, Apple TV, and other platforms using your smartphone or smart devices.

ℹ  Apple TV users: Please ensure you have a VPN installed before your trip for the best streaming experience.

​​

Drinking Water

Fresh drinking water is provided in a water dispenser. Most residents and visitors on the island do not drink tap water. Tap water is fine for brushing your teeth.

​

ℹ  Ice served at local restaurants is perfectly safe.

​

Pantry & Groceries

We recommend bringing your favorite coffee, snacks, and any specialty items you prefer from home. Basic groceries are available at a few small supermarkets on the island, but there are no large-format stores. Please plan accordingly.

 

Pre-Arrival Grocery Shopping

You are welcome to use anything in the pantry — cooking oil, condiments, and staples are there for your use. Feel free to leave any remaining groceries or pantry items when you check out; we donate them to families in need on the island.

Would you like your fridge stocked before you arrive? Send us your grocery list in advance and we will do our best to have everything ready for you. A $50 shopping fee applies.

​

Housekkeeping 

Daily housekeeping is not included in the rental rate. If you would like additional cleaning during your stay, we are happy to arrange it at $300 per cleaning. Please contact us to schedule.

 

Additional bed linens and towels are available in the walk-in closet — please help yourself to whatever you need. Please use the provided beach towels for the beach and pool; bathroom towels should remain in the villa.

ℹ  No need to launder the villa's towels or linens — we handle that. It's your vacation, enjoy it!

 

Laundry

Each villa has a washer and dryer available for your personal laundry. Please do not launder villa linens or towels — we provide plenty, so there is no need.

​

Air Conditioner & Electricity

Split air conditioning units are installed throughout the villa. Electricity on the island is expensive, and we appreciate your cooperation in using it mindfully:

• If the AC is on, please keep all doors and windows closed

• If you prefer to enjoy the trade winds with doors and windows open, please turn the AC off

• Please turn all AC units off when leaving the villa for an extended period

 

Sand

A saltwater foot rinse faucet is provided at the pool entrance for your convenience. Please rinse all sand from your feet each time you enter the villa or the pool. Sand in the shower and kitchen drains can cause costly blockages.

 

Sunscreen

We have some sunscreen available in the villas, but we always recommend bringing your own. The villas are located directly in front of a protected marine park — please bring reef-safe, ocean-safe sunscreen to help protect the incredible marine life here.

​

Polarized Sunglasses - Don't Forget These

Around 9 a.m., as the sun rises over the east side of the island, it begins to illuminate the breathtaking spectrum of blues and greens in the water in front of the villa. These are among the most beautiful ocean colors in the world. A good pair of polarized sunglasses will transform what you see — don't leave home without them.

 

Mosquitos

There is no malaria in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Mosquitos are present on occasion, as in most tropical destinations. We recommend bringing insect repellent; we try to keep some on hand at the villa, but it is best not to rely on it.

 

Smoking

Smoking inside the villas is strictly prohibited. Guests who wish to smoke are welcome to do so on the outdoor decks. Please use the ashtrays provided — the conch shells make surprisingly great ones.

 

Safety & Security

Grand Turk is a very safe island. That said, a few simple precautions go a long way:

• Lock all doors and windows every time you leave the villa and at night while you sleep

• Avoid carrying large amounts of cash

• It is perfectly safe to walk on the beach at night — just use common sense

 

A small digital safe is provided in the villa for storing passports, cash, electronics, and other valuables.

All Gates

Please close the beach gates every time you come and go. The island's wild donkeys are curious creatures and will wander in and eat the plants if given the chance — and honestly, they are very good at it.

 

Non-Villa Guests

We ask that you use discretion when bringing non-registered guests onto the property during the day. No non-guests are permitted inside the villas after sunset.

Enviroment & Recycling

There is currently no formal recycling program on the island. We do our best to minimize waste and encourage our guests to do the same:

• We provide fresh drinking water in reusable dispensers, so you don't need to purchase single-use plastic bottles

• We supply reusable insulated tumblers so you can take cold drinks to the beach or pool without disposable cups

 

We are genuinely passionate about protecting this environment. If you have suggestions for how we can be even more eco-friendly, we would love to hear them.

​

First Aid & Pharmacy

A first aid kit is located under the sink in the main bathroom. Please use whatever you need. The only pharmacy on the island is located next to Graceway Market on the main road.

​

Outdoor Shower

Sometimes a quick rinse after the beach is all you need before you enter the pool.

 

Beach

A walk on the beach early in the morning can be rewarded by spotting an Eagle Ray or a few Stingrays. They cruise along and feed in the shallows when the tide is high. Also, keep your eyes open for colorful Trunkfish. A stroll along the beach will not result in seeing crowds of people; in fact, probably not anyone at all, except maybe a few of the friendly wild donkeys and horses that roam the island. Bring some water shoes for wading around at low tide.

Fire Extinguisher

Each villa is equipped with a fire extinguisher.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash for your comfort.

​

​Before you Check Out

• Before you leave, please:

• Place all garbage and debris in the trash cans provided, or take it out to the bin outside the villa

• Load soiled dishes into the dishwasher and run it

• Turn off all air conditioning units

• Close all windows and doors and lock up

•  

• Check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need a later check-out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
